An opportunity exists for a suitably skilled and experienced candidate to join our finance team. The position of Accounts Receivable is relationships focused and requires a strong understanding of financial processes, in order to provide the best possible experience for all stakeholders, but most importantly our families, within the Debtors process.
Full-time, 38 hours per week
Fixed-term position (November 2020 - July 2021)
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate:
Effective communication skills with our key stakeholders
Effective organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
A friendly and professional telephone and personal manner
The ability to work independently and prioritise daily work requirements
The ability to maintain accurate records
Essential to this role is:
Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Receivable role
Qualifications in accounting or business e.g. cert IV, diploma (desirable)
Proven extensive customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of and experience with various accounting packages and computer software programmes, including Word and Excel
Cash handling experience and skills
Knowledge of EFTPOS processing requirements
A willingness to work within the School's Christian ethos and actively support the values and philosophy of the School.
This position is classified at Level 5 ($33.66 per hour)
Remuneration is paid under the St Michael's Collegiate School (General Staff and Early Childhood Education and Care Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2018.
