Receptionist fixed Term Position

The Receptionist will provide effective assistance to clients and visitors, perform effective front of house reception/administration tasks and provide child-minding services in a vigilant, safe and responsible manner, while clients attend appointments.

The role is responsible for the coordination and delivery of temporary child-minding services for Parents Next participants, while building and maintaining rapport with clients and their needs.

What youll need to be considered:

  • Hold a current Queensland C Class drivers license or higher.
  • Hold a current Blue Card to work with children
  • Qualifications in business administration or previous experience in an Office Administration or Reception role.
  • Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Excellent working skills in Microsoft office, including word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
  • Confident skills for problem solving, time management and the ability to develop practical solutions.
  • Good written and verbal communication, negotiation, people and networking skills to successfully liaise with clients, visitors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Able to maintain workload and operational needs through prioritising and planning.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a focus on results and attention to detail.
  • Ability to act with discretion and to maintain complete Confidentiality.
