Seasonal Worker Supervisor

Manbulloo is an Australian owned and operated horticultural business which specialises in growing, packing, marketing, and distributing mangoes throughout Domestic and Export markets. Manbulloo is Australias largest grower of Kensington Pride mangoes with seven family operated farms across NT, Nth QLD and Far North QLD. 

As Australias largest grower of Kensington Pride Mangoes along with several other Varieties, Manbulloo feels great responsibility to deliver the best tasting and quality mangoes to consumers both within Australia and overseas each year. 

We are currently seeking a Seasonal Worker Supervisor who will be responsible for providing aid and assistance to Manbulloo seasonal workers from the Pacific Islands in QLD and the NT in collaboration with management in all areas of day to day living and working arrangements except their actual workday.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Transport of workers including arrivals, departures, transfers, travel to work and errands for needs such as grocery shopping or medical appointments
  • Assist workers in accessing doctors/medical clinics when required and ensure that medical advice is followed
  • Collate daily work records
  • Assist workers with banking and international money transfer activities
  • Weekly Reporting
  • Monitor behaviour of all workers to ensure company policies, guidelines and regulations are followed at all times

To Be successful in the position you will have:

  • Experience in staff management
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be able to work within a multicultural team
  • Have a calm, positive attitude, and willingness to get in and do the job efficiently and effectively
  • Standard Manual Car Licence required, MR Licence advantageous

You will be required to stay onsite with the workers to provide welfare and wellbeing support.

This position is due to commence in Katherine, NT around 20th September 2020 where you will then transfer with the workers to Townsville QLD in mid-November. When the Townsville harvest finishes at the end of December, you will then transfer with the workers to Mareeba until mid-April when the position is scheduled to finish.
