This medium-sized privately owned business is currently seeking a switched on and engaging Finance Manager to look after their internal accounting requirements.
Our client is a leading safety services provider in Yarraville, Melbourne. They are owned and managed by two young, ambitious directors that work within the business and are focused on high quality output and maintaining their supportive, team-focused working environment.
This is a flexible, part-time opportunity for 2 or 3 days per week.
Reporting directly to both owners of the business, the role will include:
Preparation of month-end accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Overseeing AP and AR
Cash flow analysis and forecasting
Annual budget preparation
Liaising with external Accountants and Auditors
Ad hoc projects and overall process improvements
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
CA/CPA Qualification (preferred)
High level of proficiency with Xero
Over 4 years experience in a similar accounting role in Australia (Big4/Mid-tier experience preferred)
Experience managing finance functions
Outgoing personality and strong work ethic
