The Brown Group is a dynamic group of companies, owned and managed by a local Broome Family. McCorry Brown Earthmoving has been operating for over 30 years and the Brown Group has been steadily growing and has expanded its footprint to include bulk Cement supply and distribution through the Pilbara, Kimberley and Northern Territory.
We are now looking for a full time Payroll/Administration Officer to help with the increasing workload and are looking for the following skill set:
Previous payroll processing experience
Knowledge of Payroll and associated employer obligations and legislation
Sound understanding of Award interpretation
Sound understanding of Payroll Tax and Superannuation contributions
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to maintain Confidentiality Concerning Employee Files
Teamwork and initiative
Processing weekly payroll for up to 65 staff
Be the first point of contact for employees with payroll enquiries
Drafting and executing employment contracts
Updating Employee Files and Ensuring all Necessary Licenses are current
End to End Payroll Processing including leave entitlements and government payments
Liaise with the companys Accounts Manager and external Accountant
Daily and weekly bank reconciliations
Support the office and AR with ad hoc administration tasks
Process Customer Credit Applications
Support the business with Advertising and Marketing
