Client Services Officer

This role is all about providing exceptional client service in a positive, professional and engaging way either through direct interactions and communication with clients, or indirectly by assisting the Accountants and Relationship Managers in their daily tasks.

About You

You exhibit strong time management, organisation and prioritisation skills coupled with a proven ability to multitask and shift your focus across tasks as required. 

The right person will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role and show strong customer relationship and communication skills.  You are a trusted liaison for our clients and can maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive material. 

Previous administration experience in an accounting firm is an added advantage.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your daily duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Database integrity and updates including Salesforce, Xero Practice Manager, ATO portal, ASIC portal etc.
  • Collating Financial Statements & Tax Returns with a covering letter and sending to clients via DocuSign
  • Lodgements of Tax Returns and Activity Statements with the ATO
  • ASIC annual company statements, entity establishments, de-registrations and changes to shareholding and directors etc
  • Maintaining company and trust electronic register
  • Updating electronic Structure Charts
  • Co-ordinating the Audit Insurance offering
  • Receiving clients information and drafting quotes
  • Assisting with workflow management
  • Responding to a range of client enquiries
  • Backup for Reception 
  • Answering external calls and redirecting them where appropriate
  • Creation of letters & filing
  • Digital filing both at the start of a job as well as signed docs received at completion
  • General assistance to accountants 
  • Display a high level of self-motivation and energy.

Hours are: 38 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8.30am 5.00pm (1 hour for lunch)
