About the role:
K & A Foods is seeking an experienced and motivated administration office team member responsible for the day-to-day management of supplier ordering, customer service, banking, sales, and ad hoc tasks.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in book-keeping, account management and a strong interest in the food industry,
What you will be doing:
The main things that you would be doing include:
Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships via inbound calls
Manage customer invoices and payments
Assist our operations team with supplier orders
Work with our delivery drivers to process packing slips and process customer changes
Ad hoc office administration tasks such as promotional pricing data entry
Keep abreast of best practices in the foodservice industry and identify unique ideas to bring to our customers
Who we're looking for:
We're looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
5 years of experience in a similar role or can prove their motivation to work with us
Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients
Excellent communication, upselling and negotiation skills
Proven willingness to learn and improve
Strong knowledge of MS Office and customer management software
Committed to working long term at K & A Foods
Relevant degree or experience
