Reception & Office Administration

As the receptionist your primary role is to welcome our clients and make them feel relaxed.  At M2 Corporate we pride ourselves on our client service and the excellent reputation we have built amongst our clients, business partners and industry peers.

Known for your warmth and friendly style, you have the ability to work as part of a small team and you will be confident dealing with clients and have a love of all things financial. For the right person, this role can evolve into several other positions within the business.

What will be your key responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, proactive customer service in person & on the telephone
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail & maintain electronic filing
  • Liaise with the ATO including electronic lodgement of taxation returns
  • Invoice accounts and receipting payments 
  • Manage banking/cheques/money handling
  • Assist with tax return and financial statement collation
  • Provide administrative support including photocopying, scanning, banking & filing
  • Support/Provide PA services to the directors
  • Account receivable

What are we looking for

  • An understanding of accounting practice administration would be ideal but not compulsory. 
  • Excellent Computer skills (including Microsoft Office programs)
  • Excellent phone, email and in person Etiquette. In the interview you will be able to demonstrate your experience working in a client focused receptionist role where these skills have been required.
  • Previous experience in an accounting firm is ideal, with exposure to Xero and XPM. 
  • Experience as a receptionist in a professional capacity, for example [but not limited to], solicitors, architects, and doctors any industry that is highly professional and deals with clients face to face.
