Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated candidate to fulfil the newly created role of Yard & Tenant Relations Manager.
RPAYC Boatyard is a well-established and recognised facility in the Pittwater area that has been offering quality work and customer service to its members and the general boating public for many years. We are seeking a suitably qualified leader to focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring quality results in the yard and maintaining a productive and cohesive environment with boatyard staff, tenants and customers.
Qualified candidates must have hands on experience and extensive knowledge of marine/boatyard operations, organising and supervising of staff with the ability to work and meet deadlines assuring quality workmanship is preserved. The position requires someone who takes pride in their work, has strong communication, leadership and organisation skills, the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work as part of a cohesive team.
Responsibilities of the Yard & Tenant Relations Manager
The Yard & Tenant Relations Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and effective running of the boatyard activities whilst ensuring that the Clubs vision of excellence in vessel maintenance is adhered to. The Yard & Tenant Relations Manager functions in a hands-on capacity where necessary, applying their skills and knowledge to facilitate all work requirements.
The Yard & Tenant Relations Manager will be responsible for lease administration and compliance with our valued tenants and be the conduit between tenants and management.
Reporting to the General Manager and Boatyard Services Manager, general responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
All aspects of quality control including lifting and launching of vessels on schedule with all work performed at a level of quality that meets or exceeds our standards of excellence.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, including Work Heath Safety (WHS) and Environmental regulations.
Boatyard administrative support.
Supervise all maintenance and repair work as per the customers scope and identify areas of concern that are required to be addressed.
Maintain open communication with the Boatyard Services Manager, staff and tenants to ensure all are informed of job progress and any changes in scope of work or timeframe.
Focus on and implement the most effective use of resources including labour assets, materials, yard space, tools and equipment.
Boatyard hours of operation 7.30am 4.00pm Monday to Friday, plus other additional hours as required.
