Finance Manager


Family Owned Refrigerated Transport company is seeking a Finance Manager who possesses a systems improvement mindset, has exceptional analytical and financial modelling skills, a professional demeanour and outstanding interpersonal skills.

The role is a Permanent Part time leading to Full time in the future.

Reporting directly to the Directors major responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:-

  • Facilitate, support and Oversee the Accounts Manager's work
  • Detailed oversight of Payroll (Employee 130+ in number) 
  • Oversight of accounts receivable, accounts payable, supplier & subcontractor invoices
  • Reconciling debtor, creditor and general ledger accounts
  • Managing all tax compliance requirements including GST (including lodgement of BAS), Superannuation, Payroll tax, TPAR and PAYG returns
  • Inter-entity invoicing, reconciliations and entries (7+ related entities)
  • Inputting loans of Vehicles, Amortisations and Depreciation
  • Maintenance of Assets Register

In addition to demonstrating the ability to fulfil the requirements of this role, it is anticipated that applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years similar work experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting required 
  • Working towards CA or CPA 
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of XERO.
  • Updated knowledge of BAS, Payroll laws, GST and Taxation laws

Salary will be discussed and will consider both the role and the candidates experience.
