Family Owned Refrigerated Transport company is seeking a Finance Manager who possesses a systems improvement mindset, has exceptional analytical and financial modelling skills, a professional demeanour and outstanding interpersonal skills.
The role is a Permanent Part time leading to Full time in the future.
Reporting directly to the Directors major responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:-
Facilitate, support and Oversee the Accounts Manager's work
Detailed oversight of Payroll (Employee 130+ in number)
Oversight of accounts receivable, accounts payable, supplier & subcontractor invoices
Reconciling debtor, creditor and general ledger accounts
Managing all tax compliance requirements including GST (including lodgement of BAS), Superannuation, Payroll tax, TPAR and PAYG returns
Inter-entity invoicing, reconciliations and entries (7+ related entities)
Inputting loans of Vehicles, Amortisations and Depreciation
Maintenance of Assets Register
In addition to demonstrating the ability to fulfil the requirements of this role, it is anticipated that applicants will be able to demonstrate:
A minimum of 3 to 5 years similar work experience
Bachelors Degree in Accounting required
Working towards CA or CPA
Advanced Excel Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of XERO.
Updated knowledge of BAS, Payroll laws, GST and Taxation laws
Salary will be discussed and will consider both the role and the candidates experience.
