Event Producer

Requirements

  • Diploma in relevant field such as Event Management or Marketing
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of qualification
  • Excellent oral/written communication, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Capable of managing cross discipline teams
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Able to develop and manage project budgets
  • Adequate skill in software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact for the client during the event production process
  • Management of the event production process from start to finish
  • Facilitate and Interpret briefs, de-briefs and feedback and respond to client enquiries
  • Assist clients in the formulation of the Events Budget and liaise with the Accounts Department re expense invoices, and purchase orders
  • Work with the Account Director on the formulation of proposal documents for current and potential clients. 
  • Work as part of the team on Creative Brainstorms to conceive concepts and ideas for proposals to the clients. 
  • Actively research and budget ideas generated for the proposal to the clients
  • Liaise with all suppliers, performers and vendors associated with the project. 
  • Manage the Production Schedule, hosting internal Production Meetings along the way. 
  • Ensure the prompt and accurate reconciliation and invoicing of projects under personal control. 
  • Under direction, create on site paperwork such as Show Book, on-site schedule, call sheets and run orders. 
  • Ensure the satisfaction of all clients during and after the event
  • Supervise on-site activity as needed to ensure that the project is within the budget and on time
  • Maintain accurate and complete event Files in relation to each client
  • Complete time sheets and all administrative paperwork required for each project

Experience

Minimum 4 years experience in live event production, and ideally working with clients including but not limited to in the following industries:

  • hospitality, entertainment & public events 
  • financial services and investment banking
  • Insurance 
  • IT and technology
