Moree Plains Shire Council has exciting opportunity for an Executive Coordinator to join the team.
Part time – 21 hours per week
Support the Executive team and Councillors
About the role
The Executive Coordinator will work closely with Council’s Executive team and Councillors to provide high quality administration support.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020, Band 2 Level 1 Grade 5 Step 1 $580.55 to Step 3 $622.50 per 21-hour week with final salary to be determined by relevant experience and qualifications.
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Exceptional attention to detail in relation to spelling, grammar and punctuation
Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and respond positively to a wide range of individuals in a professional and courteous manner.

Ideally you will have a Certificate III in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification and/or extensive office administration experience and/or experience within a Local Government environment.
You will be able to work outside of normal business hours in order to provide support at Council meetings, and be available to work Tuesday to Thursday.
