Paraplanner / Associate Adviser

A great opportunity has arisen to be part of a well-established and long-standing Financial Services business. This is a permanent, full-time position located at our Head Office in Busselton.

Do you enjoy working on your own while interacting with a variety of clients Is it important to feel like you are making a difference Then our Associate Planner / Paraplanner position may be the perfect role for you. Using your administration experience, youll provide a complete administration service for the planners within the practice.

Your Skills and Qualifications

This position requires that you possess the following skills:

  • Previous experience gained within an administration/paraplanning /associate planner role, preferably within the Financial Services Industry
  • Proficiency with Financial Planning Software (XPlan) preferable, including Wealth Solver and Risk Researcher
  • Excellent client service skills and emotional intelligence
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, plan and organize workloads effectively to meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational & planning skills
  • A desire to develop and improve your knowledge of the Financial Services Industry through continuous learning and professional qualifications
  • Ability to work efficiently in a professional office environment, adding value to the team and our advice process by working in collaboration with our support staff and Financial Planners

Your Working Day

Your key role will be to deliver a proactive, efficient support service.

Your responsibilities will include:

Putting clients needs first is at the core of all we do. In providing this service you will assist our advisers in an associate adviser role by:

  • Preparing for appointments
  • Responding to client and adviser inquiries or administrative questions
  • Assist the adviser by collating relevant information for the preparation of advice documents.
  • Maintain effective client relationships
  • Assist and support advisers in the advice process
  • Possess strong service and compliance orientation, and work proactively with other staff members
  • To maintain licensee compliance standards
