Office admin and bookkeeper

DNX Energy is a passionate and growing business in the exciting solar energy and battery storage industry. 

We are seeking an energetic office administrator / bookkeeper to join our team on a casual basis (approx. 15 hrs per week).

 

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years experience in bookkeeping and qualification Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and:

  • Organised person, disciplined
  • Great communicator, courteous, able to work in a small team 
  • XERO experience essential
  • Excel, Word skills
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, BAS returns and bank reconciliations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, solution-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn new tasks
  • A can-do approach to work

 

Tasks include:

Office admin

  • Liaise with customers and sub-contractors to schedule new projects, organise paperwork 
  • Create user manuals /system documentation / warranties (with the help of the team)
  • Product registrations
  • STC trading (rebates)
  • Support sales, engineering and other business functions
  • Receive and direct incoming phone calls
  • Create sales reports
  • General office duties (organisation)

Bookkeeping

  • Reconcile transactions
  • Enter new clients into database
  • Create invoices/ enter bills
  • Prepare and Lodge BAS
  • Payroll
