Mansfield Autism Statewide Service (MASS) is an independent not for profit organisation, we are highly regarded independent organisation that delivers innovative educational and training programs for people with ASD and other disabilities from infancy to adulthood. We empower the individual and their families to live independent, inclusive and productive lives through the provision of individually tailored programs.
We offer a wide range of services for individuals and families living with autism. Our services have been designed as a wrap around model each service complements and enhances the quality of care we provide our clients.
About the role:
This is a newly created role that will give you exposure to all areas of accounting within a growing organisation. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will have the opportunity to put your study into practise while learning new skills and setting a solid foundation for your professional career.
Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualification in accounting or commerce (majoring in accounting)
Industry based learning is highly desirable but not essential
Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
A strong commitment to customer service
Advanced Microsoft Excel and word skills
Understanding of the Australian Accounting Standards
Excellent administrative skills
A good level of skill with computer operating systems
Able to demonstrate conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
6 weeks annual leave per annum
