ASI JD MacDonald is a progressive industry leading Commercial Washroom wholesaler, manufacturer of Toilet Partition systems as well as waste management systems for High Rise Apartment installation projects. We are now seeking a casual CFO to work out of our Keysborough head office.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the direct control and administration of the financial activities of the Company. You will provide the Managing Director with financial assessments and information which will lead to informed business decisions and thereby improve the company profitability. This will include managing two staff members who are responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
We will provide the successful candidate with flexibility in work hours and work location by agreement.
Standard costing - essential for regular review, and revision of Standards
Costing estimates relative to COGS from Chute and Partition businesses
Provide backup to accounts payable and accounts receivable support staff
General Ledger (all aspects)
Monthly accounts, and GL reconciliations
Cash Flow management
Creation of Annual Tax details for external accountants
Including GST Free goods
Excel creation of GST on Sales and Purchases
Use of external provider
Creation of monthly General Ledger Journals
Workers Compensation (minimum in Victoria / multi state helpful)
Monthly finance meeting. Ability to provide detailed analysis of the accounts to the owners
Acquisitions and Divestments
High proficiency in Excel and detailed knowledge and hands on use, in all aspects of Application/ERP Software (the company uses EPICOR version 10)
Good interpersonal skills, including well written and verbal communication ability
A dynamic, friendly, and supportive approach to their work
A good understanding of the credit function
Strong attention to detail
Manufacturing understanding including manufacturing variances would be helpful
Epicor experience will be highly regarded, but similar large ERP application software experience is essential
Previous experience in collection from building construction based business, including use of Payapps and Aconex will be beneficial
Experience in credit risk analysis utilising Equifax and PPSR
