About the Role: 

This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Purchasing and Parts team. The role will focus on providing support to the Supply Chain Manager to meet quality, cost and on time delivery metrics to improve the customer experience.


Purchasing / Expediting

  • Deliver excellent Customer service to external and internal Customers by providing timely supply of parts, to all levels of the organization.
  • Control of Terex Jaques spare parts Expediting to achieve target Order Fill Line Rates, On Time Delivery and Line Item Fill Rate levels.
  • Manage the configuration of data loaded to Pronto, BOMs, Costs, Sell and Commodity.
  • Support procurement projects and business improvement initiatives.
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and place purchase orders as required
  • Prepare and recording Supplier performance and regularly reporting both internally and externally.
  • Identify and support to Supply Chain business improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and report Weekly / Monthly report card reporting.

Parts Sales

  • Prepare and submit quotations to customers for parts.
  • Ensure that each customer purchase order for parts is correctly entered into the Pronto system.
  • Keep customers informed of any change to the promised order delivery date.
  • On dispatch of parts, immediately prepare a tax invoice and send it to the customer.

Skills & Experience:

  • 2 years experience in an administrative role. (a purchasing, parts, logistics or service background is beneficial)
  • Strong initiative and can-do attitude
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
  • MS Office including Intermediate level of excel
