About the Role:

As Marketing Executive - Digital and Social Media, your primary contributions and outcomes will be:

  • Develop, manage and execute the TravelManagers social media strategy
  • Research and implement ongoing enhancements and best practice procedures to the consumer website
  • Manage and execute tactical and inspirational content across the e-newsletter system, website and other online platforms
  • Support the production and promotion of the quarterly TravelManagers Inspired Magazine
  • Support and train personal travel managers in developing their marketing skills and promoting their business, particularly in the area of digital marketing and social media


Job tasks and responsibilities


Essential functions in this role include:

  • Drive and coordinate social media calendar
  • Investigate and implement new social media marketing strategies
  • Research and implement website enhancements and best practice procedures
  • Drive and coordinate blog calendar
  • Support the team in the execution of the tactical marketing program
  • Manage and maintain content on the consumer website
  • Support the team in developing the quarterly Inspired Magazine
  • Assist with the production of assets for the annual TravelManagers conference 
  • Reporting and analysis of digital channels and strategies to improve performance
  • Provide marketing support and guidance to our network of personal travel managers
  • Liaise with graphic designer to produce brand compliant marketing collateral 
  • Financial management of all assigned projects
  • Write and update marketing, social media and online procedures 
  • Conduct induction training for new personal travel managers
  • Support other marketing team members as required
  • Maintain and update the intranet as required
  • Proactive collaboration with all departments 
  • Other duties as required


Skills and experience


The ideal candidate for this role has: 

  • Qualifications in marketing or communications
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in a marketing role (with a good knowledge of social media and digital marketing channels)
  • Experience in the travel (or hospitality) industry an advantage
  • Experience liaising with external agencies 
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Good understanding of brand guidelines and how to implement them
  • Previous experience using and updating a content management system
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Experience with email marketing system
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite software an advantage
