About the role
As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be strategically managing and growing WASO's major corporate sponsors and working closely with the Executive Manager, Philanthropy & Corporate to develop new partnership opportunities. Your key focus will be on building sponsorship revenue and securing a long-term commitment from partners by delivering excellent service, maximising leveraging opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with sponsors. You will also draw on your excellent people management skills to guide and mentor the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator in their day-to-day responsibilities.

Skills and experience
Your application must demonstrate your experience and abilities in the areas of new business development, leadership and strategic thinking, reporting and analysis. Excellent relationship management skills are essential, as is your willingness to attend WASO concerts and events, which are often outside of standard business hours.
You will also be able to show your:
- Experience of 3 or more years within a similar role;
- Proven success in partnership growth;
- Sound understanding of contractual interpretation;
- Recent experience coordinating budgets and expenditure;
- Prior experience in mentoring and coordinating staff;
- Ability to work to strict deadlines, multi-task and demonstrate effective time management; and
- High-level organisational and administrative skills.
