About The Role
We are looking for a motivated Auto Electrician to be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of electrical systems and components on our Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Fleet. You will carry out your work diligently and with integrity, through quality and effective work practices in a safe and efficient manner. You will be committed to maximising the usage of scheduled maintenance time and minimising the impact of unscheduled work, while striving to continually improve the work we do.
Who you are
You will have a trade qualification as an Auto Electrician or equivalent, significant experience maintaining a HME fleet (open pit mining and workshop), a current C class manual drivers licence and basic computer skills.
Your component repair and refurbishment, and CAT SIS and VIMS experience alongside your experience maintaining the following Caterpillar equipment is essential:
- 793D & F Haul Trucks
- D10 & 11 Track Dozers
- 994 Wheel Loaders
- 854 Wheel Dozers
- 16H, 24H & 24M Graders
Ideally, you will also have a MR class drivers licence, a High Risk Licence (crane, rigging, dogging, forklift, elevated work platform), SAP experience and a Senior First Aid Certificate.
