Warehouse Supervisor - Afternoon Shift

About the Company:

Our client is an established provider of consumer goods across ANZ and into Asia Pacific, a parent company is a well-established privately-owned Asia Pacific, Global Organisation. 

The Role : 

Due to internal promotion, an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor for the afternoon shift has become available. Work for an organisation that has a strong senior leadership support system that encourages autonomy. The role is for those who want , need to be challenged, the opportunity for changing processes and systems. 

You will report into the Logistics Manager and have a small team reporting into you, additionally you will have a strong , articulate and astute leadership ability to bring the best our within your team. 

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

• Utilising Manhattan Warehouse Management and other Systems to process inbound and outbound orders
• Microsoft Office skills
• Liaising with forklift and truck drivers on the dock to achieve efficient turnaround of trucks
• Ensuring customer needs are met through phone and email contact
• Booking of transport companies in advance  to ensure timely pick up of customer orders
• Achieving on time and in full dispatch of goods
• Trouble shooting and investigation of queries
• Inventory control
• Food safety awareness
• Quick learner of new skills
• Supervisory experience in a small team

The Candidate : 

• Must have previous experience in Warehouse/Logistics
• Manhattan experience would be favourable
• Resilient, driven and self motivator
• Strong communication skills written and verbal
• All industries are welcome
