Raise Foundation impacts the wellbeing of young people at risk of disengagement in Australia. Through high school-based and community mentoring, Raise improves the lives of young people at a critical juncture in their development by addressing youth mental health and disengagement.  Our mentoring program equips them with the skills, resilience and connections to set them on a positive pathway.


As we embark on a journey to dramatically expand our presence across the country, we have an exciting, flexible working opportunity to join a highly motivated team as our Event Coordinator.  The role is responsible for leading the current Raise Events portfolio, and working with the Partnerships and Fundraising Director to grow key cultivation and fundraising events.


  • To coordinate the successful delivery of all Raise Foundation Events, such as the Sparkle Ball as the major annual fundraising event, the Raise Patrons Lunch, the Breakfasts with the Board, along with support for other events as required

  • Manage Event Committees, providing an exceptional experience for all sharing their time, treasure, talent and connections in support of Raise

  • Hold responsibility for all event KPIs, including delivering each event to budget and within agreed timelines

  • Working proactively and collaboratively with the wider Raise team to achieve positive outcomes for Raise events


Based between your home and our Mosman Office, we are looking for a motivated individual with a strong passion for supporting youth who face adversities to thrive.  As a highly self-motivated and tenacious self-starter with a can do attitude, you will have had a minimum of three years prior experience in event management and administration, managing event committees, working with third parties, and will be able to manage and prioritise team requests. Building and managing strong relationships with both internal staff and our highly valued committees, partners and stakeholders will be essential to your success in this role.


Strong Microsoft Office365 skills and Salesforce skills are important as is the ability to stay calm under pressure and your charming personality! Your organisational skills are legendary and you pride yourself on your warm, empathetic approach that builds rapport and connections with those around you.


This position is initially for 20 hours per week for 40 weeks of the year, with flexible days and is paid under the Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award, through which salary packaging is available. Flexibility to work outside normal office hours will be required as part of this role.
