With 56 years experience in cleaning and facilities management, working across Government, Mass Transit, Medical, Commercial and Industrial networks, we are experiencing unprecedented growth. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our NSW, ACT and QLD Operations.

The successful applicant will be based in Brisbane and will manage the operations across Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. There is potential that this role may expand to encompass management of overseas operations.

The General Manager Operations will meet the following key responsibilities and outcomes:

  • Preparation and implementation of transition plans for new contracts;
  • Monitoring progress of existing contracts to ensure contractual obligations and financial and risk imperatives are met;
  • Prepare, manage and achieve the operational and financial objectives detailed in the annual business plan;
  • Weekly reporting to the CE on operational matters;
  • Manage and lead human resource and independent contractor management;
  • Reporting to clients on contractual obligations;
  • Manage client relations;
  • Contract retention;
  • Work closely with key reports to ensure quality, safety and environment targets are achieved;
  • Ensure that the organisation works in accordance with the QSE Management System; and
  • Attendance and reporting at Management, Executive and Board level.

The successful candidate must have the following:

  • Formal qualifications in Business or a related discipline;
  • Experience in driving company objectives through the engagement of a wide cross section of employees and contractors;
  • Employee and Contractor management experience;
  • Proven experience in a similar role at a senior level building client relations;
  • Ability to problem solve and lead at an operational level;
  • Ability to travel interstate at short notice;
  • An understanding of QSE requirements in an operational context;
  • Ability to liaise and communicate effectively at a range of levels;
  • Possess a current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle at all times; and
  • A desire to ensure that quality targets are achieved each and every day.
