Ideally, applicants will have an interest in racing, with willingness to learn different roles. Applicants must be available to work between the hours of 4.00 11.45pm on a selection of Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays across the year.
Some positions require working with greyhounds and lifting and therefore any applicant should be physically fit and capable. There is also a strong focus on careful observation, understanding of animal welfare considerations and importance of strong security process'.
Staff remuneration with us is determined by Racing Clubs Events Award 2010
MA000013 the Pay Guide and the National Employment Standards.
The rate for Casual Race Night Kennel Operations is $26 per hour inclusive of loading. Position is on a roster basis as required.
There may be the requirement for certain positions to provide a criminal history check.
