We are looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer with consultancy experience in the industry, to join and lead our Engineering and Scientific Services team.

The Role

  • Lead a small group of Engineers and Scientists to Commercial and Technical sucess;
  • Deliver engineering and scientific services within expertise;
  • Contribute to business development of the the consultancy team;
  • Support and grow the Engineering and Scientific Services team.

This position may need to travel across Australia, including remote and regional areas. All travel will be organised and paid for by the company.

  • Successful, experienced engineer/scientist who is dedicated to providing high quality, value for money engineering and scientific services;

  • Motivated and has a passion for water/wastewater and environment.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Significant practical experience as a consultant in Treatment Design and/or Water Quality assessment and management;
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering, Industrial or Environmental Science or related disciplines;
  • Be an RPEQ or CEP and have a 10+ years post-graduate experience in Water, Sewage & Wastewater treatment plant design or operation, and/or water quality management;
  • Experience in managing a small team.

Desirable:

  • Experience undertaking water quality assessments, plant design, impact assessment modelling software, assessing modelling results and applying them in the real world.
  • Excellent project management, communication skills, business development acumen and leadership skills;
  • Have an experienced eye for detail, ability at identifying work opportunities and enthusiasm for mentoring and peer advice;
  • Excellent technical written and spoken English.
