Customer Service Officer - Maternity Leave Position

Maternity Leave Position - 6 months, Global Organisation, Commence February 2020.

We currently have a challenging position available for a Customer Service Officer to work at our office based in Dandenong.

Please note this is a Maternity Leave position for a period of 6 months commencing in February 2020.

General Characteristics:

You will work directly with customers managing enquiries, providing basic technical advice, scheduling outbound calls and reports with assigned customers and ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance of sales orders.

Representative Activities:

  • Managing incoming telephone enquiries
  • Create sales orders as per the request of customer requirements utilizing methods inclusive of telephone, fax, or email
  • Address customer enquiries on the status of orders, product availability pricing and complaints within 24 hours
  • Assess & raise credit requests
  • Relay information regarding crucial customer service issues of non-compliance in service/supply/performance to Customer Care Manager for appropriate action
  • Assist with Key Accounts and reports

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Previous experience in a customer service inbound role
  • Intermediate knowledge of customer service process and metrics
  • Mechanical aptitude and/or fluid power industry experience is desirable
  • Strong sense of responsibility and team work a must

Qualifications/Education:

  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent
  • Mechanical or Fluid Power Accreditation preferable
