Finance Manager

Due to internal promotion, we have a unique opportunity for a Finance Manager to step into a highly commercial, hands-on position where you will gain great exposure working with our Senior Management team, managing our group overhead queries, forecasting across the group and delivering reporting and analysis of information whilst making recommendations and helping drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and support the development of the overhead reporting capability, policy and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose and documented in an integrated conceptual framework and delivered via the Group's core financial reporting systems.
  • Prepare reports to monitor key overhead drivers and assist key stakeholders in reaching their performance targets on overheads.
  • Manage the preparation and review of accurate overhead management reports on behalf of Business Units, Operational Finance and other back office functions.
  • Drive overhead analysis versus developed budgets/plans/forecasts for overheads, providing quality management insight into factors influencing performance and present recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Manage relationships with budget owners to answer any queries or clarification of overhead allocations.
  • Contribute to team success by working collaboratively with own team members; assisting team members when needed; sharing ideas, knowledge and experience; and seeking to learn from team members.
  • Drive benchmarking of overhead performance internally and externally; deliver benchmark information to specific needs to allow decision making that pushes performance boundaries.
  • Enhance organisational effectiveness through proactive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders to solve issues, leverage opportunities and influence business performance.
  • Coordinate escalations as required between Stockland and Partner including establishing and managing an issues and risk register.

About You

  • You will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a Strong background in delivery at the Group Level
  • You may have come from working within an ASX listed company, a major Accounting firm, or organisation of similar stature
  • Your professional experience includes strong stakeholder relationship management
  • Property experience and TM1/SAP systems exposure are preferred but not necessary
