We are a design and building company that specialises in home renovations and extensions in Melbournes inner western suburbs. Established in 2012, our business has grown to encompass an architecture and interior design studio as well as a large construction team. This gives us a competitive edge as we can handle every aspect of a clients project from initial design sketches through to the unveiling of their transformed home.
We are looking for a registered architect who has 2 to 4 years experience in designing creative home renovations and extensions. Working in partnership with our senior architect and interior designer, this role requires you to:
Take the time and care to understand our clients lifestyles and personalities.
Translate our clients vision into forward-thinking design concepts that suit their wants, needs, site and budget (while blowing them way).
Guide clients through the design process and educate them on site and budget limitations.
Evolve plans from concept stage through to detailed working drawings.
Work in partnership with our senior architect, interior designer, management and construction teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
What you will bring to the role:
Proficiency in ArchiCad and 3D modelling using SketchUp as well as Adobe Creative Suite.
Working knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards and construction process.
Ability to juggle various projects with efficient time management and prioritisation of tasks.
A natural collaborator who approaches each day with a positive attitude.
