Client Service and Administration officer

We are a small financial planning practice with big plans, located 5 minutes south of the CBD in the Unley area. 

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time experienced client service officer to join our close knit team.  

As part of this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Managing workflow for other support staff
  • Meeting and greeting our clients
  • Managing client reviews, including booking meeting appointments, preparation of review documents and implementation of chosen strategies
  • Point of contact for client enquiries (phone & email)
  • Assisting advisers with client relationship management
  • Maintaining the integrity of the client database
  • Providing technical administrative support to advisers, and the broader wealth team
  • Contributing to continuous process improvement
  • Liaising with product providers and other third parties
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance of client files and advice documents

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and providing support across the business.

You will need to demonstrate the following:

  • RG146 competencies as required by Corporations Act 
  • Must have previous experience within financial planning business as customer service/administration or paraplanning role
  • Must have Xplan experience
  • A vibrant personality
  • Excellent communication skills including a professional phone manner
  • Extremely strong attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties
  • Have a desire to support a range of clients and be part of a culture which is focused on delivering quality outcomes.
