Property Services Events Assistant

The Property Services Event Assistant role work with the Property Services and Operations team, as well as the broader support and teaching teams and College leadership to create a safe and productive College environment for events and maintenance management.

The successful candidate will have:


Essential Criteria

  • Physical capacity to
    • set up and pack up for College operations including exams, assemblies, functions & events;
    • coordinate storage of furniture and event items;
    • deliver items around the College
  • Understanding of the requirements involved in emergency management (as prescribed by emergency policy and procedures);
  • Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Proven collaborative and independent working skills
  • Understanding of the requirements involved in manual handling
  • Capacity to actively support and participate in the life of the College, and the Catholic mission and Mercy values of the College

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of educational environment


A medical examination may be required for successful applicants.
