Payroll / HR Administrator

Wickham Freight Lines is giving the right applicant an opportunity to work within a small & experienced Human Resources team in the Warwick Depot as a Payroll and HR Administration Officer.  

This is a full time role, and we believe a wonderful opportunity to expand your knowledge in Corporate Governance through Payroll, Human Resources and Compliance functions. 

The administration officer  is responsible for the up to date record keeping, reporting and ability to process payroll and HR related services. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Human Resources OR relevant payroll qualifications OR relevant experience required
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Enjoys process orientated work, focus for numbers desired
  • Experienced in recruitment processes and phone screening formats desirable. 
  • Have an understanding of Modern Awards, legislative requirements and how to read these! 
  • FULL UNDERSTANDING of confidentiality requirements in accordance with employment law
  • Great people and communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism 
  •  Actively able to manage priorities and deadlines accordingly
  • Reconciliations experience with high level of ACCURACY
  • EXCELLENT customer service skills 
  • Being a TEAM PLAYER always
  • GREAT attention to detail and ability to muli-task 

We require a professional with an impeccable confidentiality record and the ability to be approachable and have an understanding of employee needs. Experience operating a payroll software program would be desirable.
