Wipeout demolition is a leading demolition company, specializing in residential and commercial demolition as well as certified asbestos removal. We are currently seeking an office all-rounder with bookkeeping experience for part-time hours in our Burleigh Heads based office. An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic administration assistant to be part of our team based on Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. Sharing the role with our Office Manager, we are seeking someone that has had experience in a similar role. Your varied day will include:
- Answering and directing all incoming calls - Assistance with client enquiries and updating them on all project status - General reception duties including mailing, ordering, supplies, equipment, bills & errands - Organizing the flow and timeline of jobs that are currently on the books, as well as creating new projects - Managing day to day emails, booking of jobs, staff management & general organization - Xero: Data entry, reconciliation, invoices, payroll & Superannuation (including BAS preparation)
- Experience within the demolition industry or a similar field, with a solid understanding of preparing WHS paperwork and reviewing contract documentation would be held in high regard.
In order for you to be successful in this role you will have a willingness to learn & jump on board new tasks asked of you. Strong client-focused service skills, the ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships, be able to confidently work autonomously as well as part of the team.
Microsoft Office skills are an advantage as well as Xero but with a willingness to learn, training can be provided. In return you will be rewarded with above award pay rates, a friendly team environment.
