Purchasing Officer, Licensing

You will be responsible for managing purchasing functions and activities for an assigned range of virtual products (licenses and support) to ensure a good customer experience by timely fulfilment of virtual product orders

Reporting to the Vendor Business Manager you will be part of a small but dynamic team. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has some purchasing experience and would like the opportunity for career progression within a company that is growing.  On the job training will be provided. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Own the lifecycle of a virtual product order from its inception to closure
  • Ensure customer orders are processed and purchased on a timely basis
  • Create customer sales orders and vendor purchase orders
  • Ensure customer sales order data, vendor purchase order data and other related data are accurate and updated as required
  • Liaise with extended teams and/or customers to ensure mandatory details required to process orders are obtained in a timely manner
  • Ensure timely delivery of entitlement details to customers via electronic means
  • Ensure relevant data is maintained to maximize recurring revenue streams via reinstatements and renewals
  • Ensure relevant data is maintained to support accurate and timely recurring billing
  • Own and track issues related to virtual product orders until they are closed satisfactorily
  • Liaise with extended teams, vendors and customers as required to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Resolve customer sales order and/or customer invoice discrepancies
  • Resolve vendor purchase order and/or vendor invoice discrepancies
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure cancellations and credits are correctly processed
  • Contribute to process improvements as required
  • Report daily issues as they arise
  • Support team members
