Our client HMES one of the leaders in the electrical services trade is seeking an experienced Internal bookkeeper /accounts allrounder to keep and manage the books within our organisation onsite 2 days per week
Typical Duties Include
Banking
Matching purchase orders with invoices,
Debt Collection
Entering creditor invoices and payments
Reviewing debtors & creditors ledgers for clearing of aged balances
Receipting debtor payments
Responsible for processing and recording everyday transactions in Xero
Filing, scanning and archiving of documents
Purchasing
Processing AR & AP
Weekly payroll processing
Carrying out Bank reconciliations & monthly Credit Cards reconciliations
Assist in carrying out end of month GL reconciliations
Verifying and posting receipts plus resolving any discrepancies with customers
Setting up new customers and employees on the system
Handling telephone account queries, providing high level of customer service
Willing to assist with other duties within the team as required
You need the following attributes:
Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar roll across all aspects of the role
Previous experience using Xero
Excellent telephone communication skills
Friendly but firm
Presentable
Through your demonstrated history a strong bookkeeping understanding
