Duct Installer

ABOUT US:
Victorian Sheet Metal is a small sheet metal company that specializes in the fabrication and installation of all the ducting fields. Attached to Victorian Refrigeration, there is the possibility of exciting growth opportunities for the right candidate in the air-conditioning duct work industry.

We have a small team working in the factory and onsite on small to large air-conditioning projects.

To be successful for this role you will need;

• Must be able to work full time hours
• High level accuracy and attention to detail
• Studies blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job locations
• The ability to site measure and the drawing of ducts to be fabricated
• To be able to think on their feet to work out any possible location issues onsite and rectify these issues
• To be mobile, as our projects are all over Melbourne
• Good communication skills to work with site supervisors/ management
• The ability to train and work alongside apprentices
• No lifting restriction
• Repetitive lifting, bending
• Teamwork skills as well as ability to work autonomously
• Reliability and punctuality
• At least 2 years experience in ductwork installation
• Be available to start immediately
• Your own set of power/ hand tools
• Working with Childrens' card required
• Police check required
  
   

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Sheet metal fabrication experience is a bonus but not critical
• White/red OHS card
• WWC
• Victorian drivers license
