International Education - Sales and Marketing Officer (China & Japan Regions)

The Role

This is a Six Months (6 Months) secondment with the potential for the right candidate to become full time.

The primary goal of Marketing Officer is to provide course information and for leading engagement and sales conversion from point of enquiries through to enrolments. This role contributes to converting prospective inquiries into student enrolments, through phone, face-to-face and online sales tools. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work closely with potential students fact finding and uncovering what will be their best course and education opportunities. This is a sales role but it will also incorporate a strong relationship building elements.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Conduct sales and marketing initiatives to ensure effective and efficient student recruitment operations
  • Conduct research activities and produce Sales and Marketing reports in a timely fashioned to meet ZOI Educations Operations requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service with relevant and accurate information advising students on matters relating to services provided by the Marketing department.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 1-year experience in general sales and marketing in Japan/China region (REQUIRED)
  • Minimum 1-year demonstrated experience in international student recruitment marketing in a Registered Training Organisation (REQUIRED)
  • Possess experiences for B2B international projects (e.g. short-course projects) are preferred
  • Having knowledge of international student recruitment markets, particularly both Japanese and Chinese speaking market are preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement onshore and offshore marketing plans to recruit international students from Japan and China markets.
  • Advanced level ability to use all Microsoft Suits (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
  • Able to organise and prioritise duties and responsibilities
  • Fluent and/or able to communicate (verbally and in-writing) in languages of their target markets
  • Effective (active) communication skills (Advanced level of writing and speaking) in English language
  • Represent ZOI Education in various Education expos and conferences.

  • Number of CoEs generated
  • Administration & Compliance metrics
  • Visa approval ratios
  • Agent Performances, productivities and satisfaction levels
  • Numbers of direct students recruited
  • Share of offshore students recruited
  • Student acquisition cost ratios
