A challenging permanent full-time position is available with a leading Finance and Agribusiness Consulting Company based in Emerald, Central Queensland.

Job Brief

We are looking for someone who will ensure the smooth running of our office and contribute to driving sustainable growth.

Your tasks will include administration, arranging equipment finance, cashbook recording and assisting the Directors as required.


  • Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Provide leadership and mentor administrative staff
  • Arrange equipment finance as directed
  • Assist with preparation of commercial loan applications
  • Manage agendas, travel arrangements, appointments etc. for consultants
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence
  • Assist with preparation and acquittal of government grant applications
  • Support bookkeeping operations
  • Perform cashbook recording
  • Create and update records and databases
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned.
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary


  • Proven high level office administration experience is desirable
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ideally with above average knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Qualifications in business, bookkeeping, or office administration will be an advantage
  • High level of attention to detail
  • A knowledge of farming and grazing is an advantage
  • Experience in the finance sector is desirable but not essential
