The Support to Skills program will aim to increase the completion rate of young apprentices and trainees hosted by small business in regional NSW and the ACT, creating a skilled, resilient young workforce positioned for financial independence. This will be achieved by individual support to apprentices and trainees referred into the program and also through the support provided to small business, creating a mentally healthy workplace.
The Liaison Officer will work with and support small businesses particularly those small regional businesses with a young apprentice or trainee identified as at risk of or experiencing mental illness.
