The Opportunity

The Campaign Coordinator works alongside the Brand Manager and Advertising Coordinator in the development and delivery of graphic design solutions that support the strategic direction of the University, which may include the creation of various campaign materials that support the vision of the University of Tasmania.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Concept development and direction of creative projects. Delivering visualisations, concepts, mood boards, reference materials, illustrations and storyboards as required. Ensuring all materials are in line with the strategic direction of the university.
  • Develop and create briefs based on the campaign strategy and with an understanding of the target audience, desired channels and key messaging and brand.
  • Liaise with Market Research and Strategy to ensure all campaign materials are built around evidence-based data to ensure that the creative approach is right for the intended audience.
  • Execute a timeline for each campaign to achieve milestones in the creation process and deliver assets.
  • Ensure brand guidelines of the University and co-brands brands are maintained correctly across all applications.


Your Application

To be successful in the role, your application will need to demonstrate;

  • Completion of a degree and experience in marketing, graphic design or a related area or relevant marketing experience.
  • The ability to create and manage high-end, multiplatform campaigns from conception through to delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and concurrent priorities, as well as work independently and apply continuous improvement principles.
  • Advanced understanding of design principles in relation to brand including visual hierarchy, composition, colour and pace.
  • Experience interpreting strategic goals into creative campaigns for large organisations in a highly competitive environment.


Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $112,425 comprising base salary within the range of $87,423 to $96,090 plus 17% superannuation.
