Business Analyst

This position is an entry level role and would suit a recent graduate. You will support the finance systems, liaise with IT teams and vendors to provide necessary support to the finance team. The Business Analyst will act as Finances first point of contact with IT and play an integral role in promoting system based enhancements and utilisation.

For a collaborative, self-starting and commercially minded individual the scope exists to drive positive change, progression and development in functional IT support and financial planning and analysis contributing to operational and financial efficiencies. 

General tasks will involve but not limited to:-

  • Trend analysis - o'heads, capital spend, tour costs etc.
  • Review & analysis of mthly results vs forecast
  • Identify internal reporting requirements & implement systematic reporting processes 
  • Provide feedback to the accounting team re timely, accurate & reliable information based on operational dept. reviews.
  • Plan for & assist in roll out of the scalability of existing system infrastructure & global system initiatives
  • Tracking of IT issues of Finance Dept. with the IT help desk & vendors & report back
  • Assist in reviewing and reporting on margins at product level
  • Assist  in stablising the BI weekly reports to business heads re sales & booking volume
  • Work with the Commercial Manager in integrating finance reporting & automation 
  • Ad-hoc analysis work
