Financial Adviser (Junior) - Progressive, Mid Tier Firm

The Role: 

  • Provide holistic, compliant financial advice to a client base that includes a healthy mix of HNW as well as ‘well off’ mums and dads. 
  • Work closely with a strong advice team focused on maximizing your time in front of clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with key referral partners and industry stakeholders
  • Proactively seek opportunities to increase the performance and growth of the business.
  • Hit the ground running – you will be provided with an existing portfolio of clients to manage.

Your Experience
  
Years of experience are not central to the recruitment process in this case. Importantly you’re able to demonstrate the following attributes;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • A mature, commercial approach to client engagement
  • Completion of tertiary studies, in addition to further study as per FASEA requirements
  • Hold current AR status
  • A strong foundation in the Financial Planning industry

Some Realistic Expectations: 

  • Whilst you will be managing an existing client base your ability to engage inbound enquiries is critical
  • Your interpersonal skills are at a high level – being able to influence clients to drive positive outcomes in their personal financial situations is important to the success of the role
  • This practice is an efficiently run, high-service firm. It’s important you bring a solid work ethic to the table.
