About Our Client
As a well known and highly regarded civil and landscaping contractor located near Jandakot, they have landscape contracts across commercial, infrastructure and maintenance sectors having developed a strong reputation for delivery across the building and infrastructure sectors from Perth to Port Hedland and everywhere in between.

With more project awards and several other projects coming through in the short and medium-term, our client is seeking to engage a motivated and commercially-minded Contracts Administrator to support the Senior Contract Administrator managing an increasing workload across a number of projects in their construction division.

About You
You will be career-minded, and looking for a long-term opportunity, where you are willing to learn from some of the most respected leaders in the business. You will also need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a contracts administrator within a landscaping or civil contractor environment
  • A good understanding of contract and commercial issues with strong problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively against competing deadlines
  • You will have excellent commercial acumen and strong negotiation capabilities retaining your tact when dealing with clients.
  • Practical experience working in Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, outlook)
  • Sound organisational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering excellent customer service in a quality-driven environment

With the support of a commercial administrator, responsibilities will include;

  • Managing subcontractor and supplier procurement processes and documentation, including subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Post Tender interview
  • Providing on-site contract administration as and when required
  • Reviewing administering and negotiating variations
  • Monthly progress claims and variations
  • Identifying contractual risks and ensuring necessary action is taken
  • Maintaining relevant registers
  • Preparation of both subcontractor and supplier agreements

Salaries are expected to be between $70,000 - $90,000 + Super with annual salary reviews.
