Tax Accountant

Due to our continued growth, Smith Feutrill is searching for a full time Accountant to join our busy firm.  

The major responsibilities of the job are :

• Maintenance of a diverse client list, including companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and superannuation funds.
• Responsibility for preparation of group financial report and ITRs.
• Attendance to compliance requirements, including superannuation, BAS/IAS, Payroll Tax and Superannuation payments.
• Attendance to FBT issues.
• Client/ATO liaison as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Will be tertiary qualified
• Have at least 3 years work experience in a business services accounting/taxation role
• Strong knowledge of MYOB.
• Direct client contact
• A valid Australian working permit
