The Role & the Business

As the Estimating Manager, you will be leading a team of 5 Estimators of varying levels of seniority and be responsible for the over-riding strategic approach to opportunities and pricing across the business. Market sectors cover Secondary & Tertiary education, Health, Corporate Commercial work, Aged Care, selected Residential and Childcare. As a multi-award winning Builder with more than 2 decades of history constructing complex projects to $20M, you will have a highly tuned commercial brain to enact 'go/no-go' strategies, strong man management capabilities and a proven track record with recognised QS or Building firms in Australia. You will be looking to work for a well-developed Construction Company who employ best practice strategies and continue to look for further growth across their fundamental sectors.

Qualifications & Experience

• You will be working as either a Senior Estimator or Chief Estimator with a well-known commercial Builder in Australia at present
• You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working within Estimating and/or Quantity Surveying in Australia
• You will have experience pricing new build & refurbishment projects above $10M
• You will want to work within a Senior Management team and have input into company strategy
• Ideally you will have a strong NSW Subcontractor base
• You will be a good Man Manager and be able to present confidently to Clients
