Quality Officer

Bethany has been in operation for over 150 years and has supported individuals within the community through a number of programs. We have a broad range of programs which:

  • Help build better relationships
  • Support the education, wellbeing and safety of children
  • Support women and children affected by family violence
  • Assist men who use violence to become accountable for their behavior
  • Provide disability services under the NDIS
  • Assist people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Assist people experiencing financial stress and provide material aid
  • Help those affected by problem gambling
  • Support parents in their parenting role

About the Role:

Bethany is excited to advertise for the role of Quality Officer within the Quality, Risk and Compliance Program. The core purpose of this role is to measurably and continually improve the experience for services users throughout Bethany by supporting the organization to embed a person centred approach to culture and safety.  This role would ideally suit someone who has worked within a service delivery or quality setting.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Implementation and maintenance of Bethanys quality and governance systems
  • Coordinate, support and participate in internal audits
  • Maintain and assist with the identification and analysis of incident and feedback reporting systems
  • Maintain and manage master documentation and version control policies and procedures

About you:

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • demonstrated experience and understanding of quality standards, auditing and improvement activities
  • a methodical approach to interpreting and communicating standards, legislation, policies and procedures
  • an enthusiasm and dedication for driving and embedding continuous improvement activities
  • strong communication skills to engage and work with all staff to promote service improvement
