Our client is a well-established Psychology Practice dedicated to providing high quality treatment for their patients. They specialise in a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders.
Currently they are seeking an efficient receptionist to join their team. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Conducting new client intake phone calls
Assisting new clients to choose a suitable therapist, answering their questions and completing the new client intake process
Diary management and client bookings
Managing client payments, processing Medicare rebates, health fund rebates and processing invoices for third party payments (such as NDIS and DVA).
Issuing invoices, conducting payment reconciliation and following up outstanding accounts
Responding promptly to Psychologist's administrative requests
Maintaining client confidentiality
Assisting in marketing tasks such as organising our GP newsletters or managing blog posts
Adhering to industry legal and ethical guidelines regarding confidentiality and information security (training provided)
Proactively maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders
Essential skills & experience
Demonstrated experience in medical setting
Strong administrative skills and ability to multi-task efficiently
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Understanding the Medicare benefits schedule and Private Health Funds
Able to work productively within a team environment and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
Exceptional time management, organisation and problem-solving skills
You will be required to undertake a working with children check
Strong computer skills with proven proficiency using practice management or CRM software in a paperless environment
This role will commence immediately.
