Barnes Products is the Australian and New Zealand leader in providing the highest quality sculpting, moulding and casting materials for artists, industry and trade.
We are looking for a motivated, accurate and experienced Purchasing and Compliance Officer to join our busy team in Moorebank reporting directly to the CEO. Full training in MYOB/EXO will be provided to the successful applicant.
Southwestern Sydney location
Early January Start
Monday Friday 8am-4.30 pm
Maintaining Chemwatch compliance system, and internal WH&S systems for all existing and new products for Barnes Australia and New Zealand.
Local purchasing of product.
Procuring, purchasing and importing of product for Barnes Australia and New Zealand.
Import product costing.
Setting sell pricing.
Inventory control, including electronic movement of product, down- sizing of product, and the maintenance and continual improvement of stock-taking systems.
Entering down-packing, transfers and stock write-offs.
Acting as a conduit between purchasing, creditors and accounts.

Must be able to work efficiently, with excellent time management.
Must be able to work accurately with high attention to detail.
Must have excellent communication skills, written and spoken English, and the confidence to negotiate with overseas and domestic suppliers.
Must have above average mathematic ability.
Must have extensive knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Must have a minimum three years experience in a similar role.
Must have current Australian drivers licence.
Must be an Australian Citizen.
