Document Controller / Sales Administrator

Severn Glocon (Australia) Pty Ltd are a subsidiary of Severn Glocon Group PLC, a UK based manufacturer of bespoke design Severe Service, Control Choke and General Service control valves. Along with our core product line, we have strong relationships with manufacturers of ball valves, GGC and Actuation company's allowing us to provide full valve packages to a variety of other industries.

This is a full time role that provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, motivated and hardworking individual, who has a passion for servicing and working directly with customers and vendors. 

This position requires an individual who has excellent organisation and communication skills and a commitment to excellence in customer service. This position performs the role of document controller for all internal and external controlled documents. Additionally, this position provides key support to our internal and external staff through assisting clients with  project support, quotations and order status. 


The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Control of vendor, internal and client documents including transmittals to the client.
  • Processing telephone/email/general sales enquiries, quotations, orders
  • Servicing customer enquiries by providing relevant information such as stock availability, order status, and delivery details as requested
  • Supporting external Sales Engineers with quotations
  • To provide aid in some warehouse duties where and when required - Packing small orders occasionally

It is essential the successful candidate must possess below criteria:

  • Document Control experience Min 2-3years
  • Intermediate level of PC literacy, including knowledge of MS Office suite and sharepoint
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High level time management skills
  • A strong work ethic and flexibility to go the extra step
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • A passion to learn and develop their knowledge & skills
  • Ability to be flexible and work well within a small team based environment
  • The right to work in Australia

Desirablel criteria:

  • Experience in internal sales in the same or similar industry
  • Industry and/or product knowledge and/or a mechanical aptitude within a technical environment

A remuneration package commensurate with your experience, includes superannuation at the industry designated rate.
