Located in the Sydney CBD, right near the transport links of Central station, IPART are currently recruiting for multiple vacancies for Senior Analysts to join the Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) team.
The ESS is a NSW Government program aimed at reducing energy consumption in NSW. This is done by creating financial incentives for organisations to invest in energy savings projects. Energy savings are achieved by installing, improving or replacing energy savings equipment. The ESS team administers the ESS and oversees compliance.
You will be joining a professional, dedicated and friendly team, who operate in a flat structure where everybody knows your name. You will be responsible for undertaking audit and compliance-type activities, and technical analysis of accreditation applications or other matters and applying relevant policy guidelines.
About the role:
Preparation of briefs, discussion papers, templates and guidance material to assist with accreditation assessment and compliance processes
Participate in the development of processes and policies to facilitate compliance.
Participate in compliance and regulatory audits
Undertake research and technical investigations
Opportunity to present your work to senior decision makers
You will have experience in one of the following areas: regulation/compliance (preferably related to the energy sector), regulatory compliance audits, science (related to energy efficiency), engineering or law
Ability to analyse audit reports and interpret/administer legislation/policy as necessary
Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
Program administration experience desired
