We are registered on CRICOS for delivering courses to international students with over 600 students studying with us.

As per growing needs of business, a position has become available for the General Accountant in our Auburn office.

As an Accountant, you will be required to:

  • Work closely with the chief accountant, prepare profit and loss statements, and balance sheets, payrolls and bookkeeping for the College
  • Assist the chief accountant on general accounting issues, and to advise on specific accounting issues relating to cash flow and credit issues.
  • Monitor and analyze income, outgoings, identify and resolve problematic issues.
  • Manage and organize high volumes of financial information and data.
  • Manage accounts using MYOB.
  • Resolving accounting discrepancies
  • Analyze business operation, trends, costs revenue, financial commitments & obligations to project future revenues, expenses or to provide advice
  • Develop, implement, modify and document recordkeeping accounting system making use of accounting software.
  • Financial forecasting, budgeting, cash flows and risk analysis.
  • Other tasks as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

  • At least 2 years relevant experience (Preferably in CRICOS RTOs sector)
  • Bachelors degree in commerce or accounting
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated committed, a good communicator and reliable team player
  • High level of accountability with the ability to accept responsibilities and ownership
  • Display initiative with a positive attitude
  • Strong desire to learn and grow with the business
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • High level of accuracy, time management and delegation skills with the goals of achieving and maintaining efficient and effective work practice
  • Contribute effectively to team meetings
  • Demonstrate commitment to, and support of team decision
  • Strong IT skills particularly in the use of spreadsheets and accounting software.

Salary : $55000- $65000 p.a.
